Oh, what can I say about my beloved Rocky Bear.I bought him in a pet store in n. jersey,he was the loudest dog there,wanting out his cage so bad. He had came from S.Dakota to kansas and then to manalapan,n.jersey by truck.Thirteen weeks old and marked down because of his age. When I brought him home,I could hardly lift him, he ran and ran in our yard so happy to be out of that cage. He was so loving and silly at times,loved to rip up toys and socks, ball hats, anything he could grt his paws on. We would throw ball to him and he would try to catch it with his paws, also ate his cookies holding them with his paws.We were joined at the hips with him.Bought him every toy from rudolf to scoobe-do.Rocky needed lots of attention so we went to a breeder and bought Buster and they became best buddies,Buster as serious as Rock was goofy.Really, Marly could put nothing over Rocky.Rock just had that special loving way about him that indured you to him. He stole my heart and became my very best friend.We would say that we never thought of them as dogs but as children.We moved,when Rock and Buss were 4&5 yrs, to a lake in virginia and they enjoyed it here especially the dock and company.Rocky started getting sick March 2010 with kidney infection and kidney disease and even with treatment he developed diabeties which became uncontrolled even with the insulin.He had fell and hurt his leg which was not healing, would stay on his pad most time and when it got to the point that he could no. longer walk we knew what was best.It doesn't hurt less when the head rules the heart.It was the very worst thing that I have ever had to go through in my life. I think of him every day and use to tell him that I would love him forever and ever and since love is eternal I know that we will see him again.
He was my precious baby boy and I have to look back at the pictures and movies of him and how much he was able to enjoy his life here.
I believe God gave us Rocky for a purpose,he was pure, beautiful, unconditional love and we were so blessed to have him as long as we did. Then we had to give him back to God.It was't easy.
We miss and love you so much Rocky and Buster misses you too.Untill we will all be together again.
