We lost the most perfect companion this year! I know everyone says that they have the perfect pet, but Samantha was, indeed, the perfect pet! She was very easy to train and continued to learn new things even before her untimely departure. She always stayed by us and never needed to be fenced in. She always waited in the front yard or on the driveway for the kids to come home when they were little. She loved to sunbathe on the asphalt driveway in the warmer months of the year and loved to be wherever we were.
She took turns with the kids, sleeping in their beds at night and with me when my husband was out of town. She always seem to know when you needed extra love and gave unconditionally even when she became ill with cancer. Everyone that came into contact with her fell instantly in love with her and thought she was the best dog ever! She was very smart too! Samantha will be remembered and loved forever. We really miss you Baby Girl!!
