Looking through the web site, I saw Rockie....He is the match to my Golden, Spirit....We just had to put him down on Feb. 4th, 2011. My heart is lonley now, but all dogs go to the Rainbow Bridge..check it out !! its soothing, and inspiring........

Rockie was a beautiful dog. I know the feeling when you have a dog that is just happy to BE. I had one for 14 years, and named him Tupper. I always thought I should have named him Happy because he was always just happy to be anywhere with us. So sorry.

Nickname: Rockstar, Bubba

Rockie loved to swim. The doggy paddle was his best stroke, no doubt. He was also quite good at soccer in his younger years. He loved to come to the tennis courts with the family and chase after the balls. He loved the snow. He would roll around in it and make snow angels. He loved to eat it too! He loved to eat everything! Especially napkins!! You could never get through a dinner without him stealing your napkin right out of your lap. He loved fruits and veggies too! Apples were his favorite by far. But his love for chewing up paper and making a mess was his most prominent love. He was an amazing pup. Never jumped on anyone, never barked, never bit, and always listened. Not just to commands but to everything you had to say. He was my therapist. Except he never gave me any dumb advice. He loved getting tummy rubs and scratched behind the ears. If you hit the right spot he would smile! Really! Such a happy dog! Loved everyone! Just so happy to be around you. If the family was all sitting in one room he would come over and lay at your feet. He hated when you argued and the only time he barked was when he was breaking up a fight. I'm convinced he was an angel. And I look forward to seeing him again in the after life. Love ya buddy!
