Dusty came to me at age 3, because his previous owner no longer wanted him. He was about to put him in a local shelter. I knew if that happened, Dusty would end up in the wrong hands. I agreed to take him while the owner sort to find a good home. After a month of not finding anyone (which I was grateful for by then) I asked that the owner sign over all his papers and records to me. It was the best thing I ever did and never regretted it......even when Dusty gave me trouble.......I never once thought "why did I do this" his trouble usually ended up making me laugh! He was by my side always. He was the most affectionate dog. He looked very intimadating with is two ice blue eyes and red and white coat, but he was a sweety under all that. He helped me lose 25 pounds because I now had to walk the dog. I miss those times. For 10 years he was my "boy" and I will never ever forget that wonderful HUSKY.
