My maggie was one of a kind. She was my first dog and she was very special to me. I love you Mags!

When I first got Maggie, it was at a pet store. I was actually looking at her brother because I lived with my Mama and she didn't want me to bring home a girl dog or a white dog or a long haired dog. So I was looking at her brother trying to abide to my Mom's rules(except I was ignoring the long haired one). Then I was told he was already sold. So I look and see his sister. She was the last one in the kennel. She was white, long haired, and a girl. I knew I wasn't supposed to but I asked to see her and then it was all over. I had a puppy! She was expensive and I think she knew it. She was worth every penny and I would not have traded her for anything in this world. I miss her crazy!

My maggie was so precious to me. She was truly like my daughter. She followed me around everywhere I went. Her passing was a huge shock. The fact that I will not hear those 4 paws paddling behind me tears me up but I know she is in a better place and I do believe dogs go to heaven and we will meet again. Everyone loved her. She had so much "personality." She had an underbite that just made her so adorable. Maggie leaves behind many "brothers and sisters" but her special friend was her friend/sister Mollie(a dachshund). She loved chasing her and they would have their playtimes around 9pm every night. She also loved to try to eat the vacuum. She was one interesting animal. Maggie was very sensitive and would get her feelings hurt easily. When I would go on vacation or be gone a couple of days I would come home to a cold shoulder for like 5 mins and then she would come to me. Mags had to be walked on a leash because if she was ever loose outside for some reason she would go straight to a cow patty and rub her head in it(don't ask me why!). Then the only way I could get her to get away from it was to go to my car and take her for a ride. haha. She also thought she was the boss of all the other animals for some reason. She definitely thought she was human and to me she was. I have had other family pets and I have other ones now and don't get me wrong I love them all but for some reason I had this special connection with Maggie. Don't even get me started on food! She was a pig(she would be mad at me for saying that). During the summer she would come swimming with all of us in the pool. One of her favorite positions was curled up on my arm at the end of the couch. That was our "bonding" time as I called it. Wherever I went she wanted to be! She definitely had seperation anxiety when I would leave. My sweet little Mags! Maggie was so loyal to me and I wanted to be loyal back by making her this memorial page. Mags, even though you are gone you will NEVER be forgotten. You will ALWAYS be in my heart. I love you.
