From the time he was a young pup he had more energy than most dogs...he chewed on EVERYTHING....most of it mine, shoes, wallets, books, eyeglasses...you name it and it was fair game for him.
He also liked to jump on windows to bark at people walking by the condo....3 different times he went right thru the windows...the closed windows! He was beyond lucky, only cut himself one time...
He also enjoyed a quick run around the block, with me chasing right after him...he thought that this was a excellent game...he also enjoyed getting on the table to eat leftovers if I didn't clear the table fast enough. Jake would have given Marley a run for his money!!!
He survived cancer when he was 10 and had by then, finally calmed down...he was finally the calm dog of my dreams...
Youi could never open the fridge without him being right there...hope was always there.
His was diagnosed with chronic renal failure in June, he also had injured his leg while playing with one of our grown childrens dogs...by the end he found it very difficult to walk and he could no longer keep food down....it was the hardest decision we have ever had to make...and I will miss him forever more.
