I rescued Chubby from the SPCA in Houston Tx. She had only been in the facility two days before I saw her online and fell in love. I went to see her in person and adopted her immediately. My boyfriend and I spoiled her and lavished her with so much love. She started out shy and scared but quickly became comfortable in her new home. She became one of the family very quickly. Everyone loved her. She didn't play with toys but she loved human interaction. She was my baby. ....And looooved belly rubs! August of this year Chubby was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma (oral). She enjoyed the last few months of her life And although much slower, she even made it through Christmas. Sadly we saw the fatigue in her eyes and her apparent suffering and knew it was best to say goodbye. Chubby went to be with Jesus on December 30, 2011 where she is back to her old self, and is suffering no more. Rest In Peace my Golden Girl. Mommy, Daddy, Grannie, Auntie Joyce, and Nina love you and miss you so much!
