Riley was a little dog with a lot of personality! He was still getting into trouble two days before he died. We always had to push our chairs in, otherwise he would use them to jump up onto the table and eat our food. He got lost in the middle of the night camping in the mountains because he had unzipped the tent to let himself out. Once he ate a bag of chocolate chips and was in doggy ICU for a couple days.

We always said you had nine lives... I guess they finally ran out. My heart is broken from the incredible loss of you Mr. Riley. I have loved you so much. I miss you curled next to my stomach when I sleep, the sound of you trying to jump on the counter, walking around for hours with a bone in your mouth but not eating it, making sure the other dogs don't have too much fun, demanding to be pet by pawing at me, your stinky breath, the way you cleaned the other dogs eyes, saying DISMOUNT!, shaking when I cook because you think the smoke detector will go off, being annoyed because you couldn't just poop in one place...you had to walk while pooping and make several little piles, your happy, crazy barking in the morning when getting Tucker up.... I could go on and on. Just know that you were loved and cherished. We were in no way prepared to lose you so unexpectedly. I will love you forever.
