Chelsi was a waterholic. She would drink water from the downspouts, the morning dew on the lawn, and even lick it up under the shower curtain while we took a shower. She always needed to be with us and would follow us wherever we went including the bathroom.
She loved to lay in the sun with her ear over her eye. She enjoyed going for rides in the truck where she could look out the front window while she sniffed the air vents.
I took her to various basset hound events where she won 1st prize for many of the games. I dressed her up for the costume contests as a baby, a hula dancer, a snorkeler, and a 4th of July party dog.
She loved our golden retriever, Brandi, who died in 2006. They are together again running, playing tug of war, and sleeping next to each other at night.
