In Loving Memory of our MayMay Girl. MayMay is her name, fetching is her game. We Love You Forever.

Nickname: MayMay Girl

MayMay was the tough, energetic girl among her sisters. She had unlimited energy for playing fetch and would never complain about it. She chose playing over eating. We have a big yard that is fenced up for the girls and she would jumped right at the corner of the fence post when she was happy and excited. We frequently saw her head and long floppy ears bounced up and down behind the fence post. It was so funny. She was like a deer bouncing around.

We enrolled her in the obedient classes. She was a handful because she was a dominant girl and she wanted to show the rest that she was the pack leader. But she did really well in class. As we all know that labradors are exceptionally smart and it didnt take her much to pick up the skills. She was one of the outstanding dogs in class. We had a lot of fun training.

MayMay had 2 litters and they were all healthy. We were happy that we found good homes for them. Occasionally we would receive pixs of her puppies. They have been really good dogs and made their family happy and proud of them. When she was having her puppies, she did really well. It took her several hours of labour pain and she delivered all her babies within a few hours time. I was so proud of her. She was a great mommy too to her babies. She wouldn't let anyone pick her puppies up. MayMay would go out to poo poo and pee pee and went right back to feed her babies. She made sure that she cleaned after them immediately. MayMay's puppies are very much like her and they are very good retrievers as well. She was very protective of her babies and would not let anyone or her sisters go close to them. She would snapped at them if they got closer to her babies. She was like a tomboy but surprisingly she was an excellent mommy. We were very proud of her. She and her 2nd sister who is also a chocolate lab used to fight. MayMay would be so focused on the ball and ran hard to fetch it but her sister Dowdow went to fetch MayMay by her neck. It looked so funny but MayMay didnt mind at all because she was more keen on bringing back the ball to us. Her older sister another chocolate lab would joined in the fun and Langlang is the goofy one, she would run to the back to wait for the ball and retrieved the ball for MayMay. They were the 3 stooges. Each one has a different personality. MayMay was the boss, LangLang is goofy clown and DowDow is the calm one but she tried to calm MayMay down by barking at her when MayMay got excited. It's never the same without MayMay. We love you MayMay Girl. Eventhough you have gone to doggy heaven but we still feel your energy around us and see you jumping at the fence post. I know you are always with us and protecting us everyday.
