Gabby was a present to my daughter, Naomi for her birthday present. She was one of those middle of the road puppies, not overly friendly and yet not shy about meeting new people. She watched us before she chose us. My grandson, Justin was just a year old when Gabby came into their lives. She kept my grandson and daughter safe. Justin always thought of Gabby as his since they grew up together. She was the best dog ever.
Gabby loved to play fetch and her favorite toy was a flattened lid to a drywall can or a large piece of wood. Even when her back legs wouldn't work as well as she wanted she still tried to play fetch.
Her best dog friend was Anna who she lived with Gabby for over 8 yrs. Both "girls" were the same age and it was decided that they could not live without the other and were sent to the Rainbow Bridge together.
