To Cooper-

Our faithful and loving companion. Our best bud! While we know in our hearts it was time for you to go we all miss you so much! The house feels so empty and we search for you almost everyday!

We remember the day we brought you home at just 8 weeks old and while daddy had his eyes sought on another pup I knew you were my dog. You were calm quiet and the connection we had that day only grew bigger with each moment that passed by. The first year was just the 3 of us and then your human siblings started to roll in. Your love for the 3 of them was incredible, the protection you provided for each and every one of them can never be replaced. You were so kind and gentle with all of them and would never let anyone hurt them. You were their "best bud".

We will never forget all that you have done for this family for the past 13 years, you changed us in ways you'll never understand. From going on walks and playing fetch to watching the kids swim in the pool and playing in the snow with them are all memories they will always cherish.

So Thank you Coop! Thank you for being the most faithful companion any dog owner can ask for. Thank you for sending those rainbows on the day you passed for the kids. Every time they see one they will always think of you. Even after you passed you knew they needed a sign from you to let them know you were ok! If love could have saved you, lord knows you would have lived forever! Now go jump off those hills and catch as many blue jays as you want! We for sure miss you and we will love you always!
