Lost without you

Nickname: Weena

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So much is missing now that youre gone. Its hard to remember what life was like before you, and even harder coming to terms with life without you. Its helps to know that youre in a better place and not suffering anymore. But still your loss is hard to cope with. Its especially hard when coming home from work and the Leena talk isnt there. Or when its treat time and I still reach for two weenies (Jade still gets hers). Our walks just arent the same, Jade doesnt know her place without you. We dont now our places without you. You were the Alpha dog of this pack and knew it. Everybody that knew you, loved you because you loved everyone. Miss those big blue eyes looking up at us during dinner time. Its selfish to say we want you here. We look back on the twelve years we were blessed to have you with us and remeber how beautiful you were and always will be. From the first time we saw you, that night we thought we were picking a dog, but really you picked us. You have always been a huge part of our lives. So, until we see you again, and we will, play, run and be happy with your old road dog Misty up there in doggie heaven. Im sure you have all the shoes, glasses, and remote controls you can chew on now. Thanks Beast for always being a good girl. You are missed but will NEVER be forgotten.

Weena pookie,
I miss you alot !!! The days are just not the same. You came into our lives when it was hard to deal with such confusing emotions and yet you knew how to make them better. I remember that night when we were hedding back but, somehow you were already working that weena magic. We went through alot of good and sad times together. You are our first Baby girl ! the first member in our crazy family. I know all those memories will be in our hearts forever, i also know that you are now our guardian husky dog. Thank you for picking us and keeping us together.Thanks for protecting the boys and for letting them love you in their own special way. Thanks for all the unconditional love you gave us. Love you Weena have fun in your new place and never forget that we love you.
