Bandit, little dog, big heart, loyal friend, you are missed.

Nickname: Bandito

Bandit was the K9 equivalent of the LOML. I will remember him always and miss him forever. From the day I took him in as a stray until the day he died in my arms,14.5 years later, he was my constant companion. We shared many happy and sad times together. He was always there to lick my cheek or my toes to comfort me. He waited patiently for me, standing guard at the door of my shower each and every morning all those years. When Bandit went to Rainbow Bridge, it left a huge hole in my heart which I had to fill somehow. If Bandit has a legacy it is this: Wthin a short time of his death, I became involved as a volunteer with JCCARE, Japanese Chin Care and Rescue Effort, a national non-profit group. I have opened my home to helping Japanese Chin in need. I currently have 7 adopted and/or rescued Japanese Chin and 2 foster Chin who are here with me being loved and cared for and living the good life while awaiting their forever person to find them. Japanese Chin are indeed a special breed. Godspeed my little Bandit, until we meet again...you are my shining star in the heavens.
