My sweet Ellie girl came into my life when she was 7 years old. I adopted her from a rescue organization. She quickly captured my heart and became a part of everything that I did. She was my only "child". She saved my life when I was sick and kept me going when I was down. She needed me as much as I needed her.

She loved to go for rides. Her favorite pasttime was spending time with me. Everyday she greeted me with such excitement when I woke up and when I returned home. Outside of work, there wasn't anywhere that she didn't go with me. The cleaners, the pharmacy, the store, McDonald's (her favorite), Sonic and Culvers. Even an occassional Burger King. She loved to go for walks and just sit around with me while I gave her attention and gently pet her.

Ellie had a unique personality and was very smart. She knew what she wanted and somehow she wrapped me around her finger and seemed to get it one way or another. I loved spoiling her and she loved being spoiled. Every morning I would sing you are my sunshine to her and every night I would bless her before bed. She even prayed with me.
Ellie was a well behaved girl and never got into anything that wasn't hers and never had accidents. She was a gift sent to me from God and everyday that I had with this sweet wonderful girl was a blessing. She will forever be in my heart and not a minute will go by that I don't think of her and miss her. You will always be loved my sweetheart. I know that you are in Heaven and can't wait until we meet again. I will have many, many hugs and kisses stored up for you to make up for lost time.
