shy was the greatest little girl. I love her so much. She had her funny little ways about her.

Nickname: shy

Shy was so special. I found her in a cematery. I have another dog that looks almost like shy but a little smaller.hes name is Dakota. I took Dakota to the cemetary to play with shy till I could get her to come close to my daughter and I so we could grab her and put her in the car. You could tell she was special because people would leave food out for her. It took about a week every day till she finally came close. We got her in the car and she promptly threw up and had a bowel movement. I thought this is not going to work out when she gets out of my car she will probably run away back to the cemetary since it was about a 1/2 mile away. But to my supprise we opened the front door and she walked right in.She hide under my bed for a while then came out to see her new family. Cheyanne had her little quirks , she never ever let you take her picture. when you got even remotely close to her with a camera she would run and hide. I thought I would take her picture with my camera phone to fool her and get some pictures of her but she was to smart and knew what I was doing. THere for I have no home photos of her. I did take her to have some professionaly done so I do have a few of her. there is one with her laying by a pumpkin and the other with santa.Let me tell you they were so hard to get. When I took her to the vets for the first time he told me she acted like she had been an abused dog. and some one must have dumped her out because she had had puppys at some time. I cant understand any one abusing her she was so great and full of love. Some times when I would cry she would hop on my knees and kiss me. She had such great compassion. It took her only a few days to feel out her territory and become so protective of it.The once shy little girl I brought home from the cematery that would run and hide was now a full force house protecter. She would charge at any one close to the house. Hair on end and teeth to bare. ready for action. Not the little gril that hide behind bushes any more. I was so afraid she would biite some one but she never did. She always knew when she had them scared enough.There is so much i coul say bout her thoughts keep racing through my head and I want to but them in order and write more later . It is so hard to type through tears. She has been gone a month and the pain has not eased yet. I am hoping this will help.I will say that when we got cheyanne my other dog Dakota took to overseeing her. One day they had gone up to georges house(he is another dog up the road)and they played for a few minites. I didnt know georges owner so I wanted the home. I called them and Dakota came but not Cheyanne. I then told Cody to go and get her and he sure did and brought her home. He has done that countless times for me. Now I have finally figured out why Cody wants outside about every hour on the hour. He never did that before. But it finally dawned on me that every time I am crying for Cheyanne and saying Shy I want you home cody wanted to go out and look for her. He would always give me a funny look Then I thought he is telling me mom I can find her. Since I stopped calling cheyannes name he has stopped going out all the time
