Tippy was a beautiful, happy, young dog!! He put a smile on my face even on my worst days!

He lived a very short life but a happy one!!! Thanks to a careless breeder, he was taken from me because of having acute leukemia! He loved to go bye-byes!! Just a week before his sickness he went for his first walk of the year. I loved him very much and he loved me!! He made several trips to the beach with me and loved to lick the salty sand. He was such a good dog!! I miss him today and forever!! Your mommy will always love you, Tippy!!

I got Tippy in July of 2008 after I had to put his uncle down with having acute kidney failure at the age of 6. Tippy resembled his uncle so much I was happy to have gotten him. I went to the same breeder that I trusted, because she has been breeding and showing poms for 30+ years. The day that I had his uncle in ER it was too late. My vet said that what we know today about Tippy, she wished that she had a bone marrow sample from his uncle, because he could as well had leukemia too that led to his health problems.

I took Tippy to the BEST care possible, Ohio University Vet Hospital!! Within hours his white and red cells and platelets where depleted!! There was nothing that could have saved my little guy!

I am angry! How can I get 2 dogs with the same bloodline from a breeder and have them ripped from me!! I trusted this breeder, but she is out for the show quality of the dog and not the quality of life!! :( These little guys were my FAMILY and because of a careless breeder I had them for a very short period of time. I know that I cannot bring them back, but I want to let you, dog lovers, to beaware of breeders. I know that the next time I get another family member, I will do my research!! This breeder stopped breeding for a few years, but just this week I heard she is going to begin again. She needs to be STOPPED!!
