He was a little fighter! No one pushed him around.

Morgan was stray on the streets of Charleston, SC. He was picked up by Animal Control and given to the SPCA. Because he was frightened he was biting at shelter personnel. In Feb. 2008, the SPCA offered him to our rescue group. If we didn't take him he would be euthanized. We accepted him and I picked him up on 2/28/08. He was rather difficult, but in the first 2 months that we had him he had surgery to remove numerous bladder stones, was hospitalized several times for various problems. In May of 2008 Morgan was tested and diagnosed as positive for Cushing Syndrome. We have tried to keep this disease at bay with weekly chemo doses. He was given 2 years to live at the time of diagnosis and did well until 2010. On 4/28/10, his foster Mom for the past 2 years made the painful decision to end his suffering. Good-bye old friend, I do miss you. The house is very quiet.
