Here Lies a Hero, and a Friend....Thanks for Saving My Life!

Nickname: Max

Max was my First Dog, but he soon became my Friend. He came into my life on a Good note because he was the First thing I asked my Parents for on a whim, and Got it! Max's character was one that was Original when we picked him up, he had the Most Personality. Max Helped me grow as a person his stubborness, made me stubborn which turned into Determination, and Self-Motivation. He Saved my Life Once, and Forever.....Once on a routine walk right outside my Home a Large Branch from a tree began to fall after a bad storm ...I didn't hear, or see it, But Max did, and he pulled me out of the way. This taught me to Beware even those that are Most Close , and Fimilar to you. Max was my Family he Helped me experience Bonding, and Loyalty. He Never became Disloyal, he Endored Many a Attitudes, Bad Days, Break-ups, and sometimes just Me being plain old Mean, yet never did he Stray. He brought me outta my Shell ,and put me on the Social Map with every walk we took, it was him who sparked a Conversation , or Comment. This Helped me build Confidence, and a Sense of Self. Max was my Hero, he kept most of the Bad Guys away, he looked out for me......he showed me when the Ghost were lerking in my house....even though sometimes we both ran..Lol. However I had to get over my fear of the Basement at Night by my-self. He Always knew when I needed a Ear to Listen, or when I was Sick. Every walk with him was a Journey, an Adventure, an Experience, and a potential to Learn a Lesson while seeing the World, some of which I may have never done with out him. Max was there for the Birth of ALL 3 of my children, and he cared for them the same as he did for me. It Broke my Son's Heart when he Passed, and created a void hard to fill as Max was Irreplacable. He sat and watched the spot under the table every day where he took his last breath for months with out disturbance, unconsolable by Fish, or Turtle. No distraction until we invested in Not one But Two more Cairn Terriers heavily resembling Max. One in Physical Appearence, the other in Character. We named the one that looked like Max...." Xam " pronounced Sam, but Max spelled backwards. The other we named Oscar even though he's far from grouchy! I then dedicated my care of these dogs in memory of Max. I said I would do it better for him, better with my time, better with my care, better with the relationship. This was supposed to give my kids the experience of having a longtime friend as I did, however due to circumstances of life we lost them too, not to Death , but to Life! I Failed, and I'm sorry Max.....I Love you, and I'm Lost with out you.
